The brand-new VD40X wheel from Varro provides a number of benefits over traditional cast wheels. The two main advantages are reduced weigh and increased strength. Wheels made with spin forging are typically 25% lighter than wheels made of traditional casting. When compared to completely cast wheels, Spin Forged wheels’ strength raises the tensile strength by 20% to 30% on average.
